The Empire of Unicorinth
Long before the events of The Everi Saga, the world was ruled by the Empire of Unicorinth, an age defined by beauty, ambition, and cruelty.
From the Kovan Seat, a castle carved of seashells that shimmered like the moon, the emperors claimed dominion over all lands — mountain and forest, sea and sand.
They named their empire the light of the world, but the glow of Unicorinth was blinding, not bright. The more they sought perfection, the more they forgot mercy.
What began as a kingdom of wonder became one of tyranny — where those deemed “imperfect” were silenced, and darkness grew quietly at the heart of the throne.

The Fall of the Prince

Among Unicorinth’s heirs was Prince Dover, a son who could no longer stomach the empire’s cruelty.
He saw what others would not — that light without compassion becomes destruction.
In defiance of his parents and their divine court, Dover fled across the known world, carrying nothing but guilt and a desperate hope for something better.
Through desert and jungle, over mountains and frozen plains, he searched until he found the fertile valleys of Sokol — a land untouched by his family’s reach.
There, he vowed to build a realm upon mercy rather than mastery, and with that vow, the light of Unicorinth finally dimmed.
The Prophecy of the Light Within
As centuries passed, legends foretold that the descendants of Sokol would face the same darkness that once devoured Unicorinth.
But this time, the story would end differently.
For from Sokol’s line would come those who understood that light and darkness are not enemies — they are mirrors.
Only through despair could compassion be born.
Only through ruin could redemption take root.
Thus, it was written that when Everi stands upon the edge of shadow once more, three souls bound by fate will rise — one of courage, one of cunning, one of compassion — and together they will restore the balance between night and dawn.
Everi Today
The Everi of today is a world fractured and reborn — oceans still whispering the name of Unicorinth, forests humming with Sokol’s promise, and hearts ever searching for the balance between ruin and renewal.
The stories of The Everi Saga are but windows into this world — reminders that light is not something we find.
It is something we choose to become.
